I was, and still am, truly amazed that collectors enjoy my art and want to display in their homes. This is my 2012 Christmas Tree.<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LinDocPr0TI/UNOqRNR-O7I/AAAAAAAACZo/-EdJYcJsMdg/s1600/DSCN1312.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LinDocPr0TI/UNOqRNR-O7I/AAAAAAAACZo/-EdJYcJsMdg/s400/DSCN1312.JPG" style="clear: both; float: left; margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px;" /></a>We're actually spending the 2012 Holiday Season at our home in Arizona. It was fun to decorate this year using my Santibella ornaments that I purchased over 30 years ago. <div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-28593515422644787882012-03-20T12:24:00.001-07:002012-03-20T12:24:44.252-07:00Flamenco Dancer<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mElr2eXhiZc/T2jZdkdkqxI/AAAAAAAACZc/VQFIWz3L1js/s1600/DSCN1006.JPG"><img alt="" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mElr2eXhiZc/T2jZdkdkqxI/AAAAAAAACZc/VQFIWz3L1js/s400/DSCN1006.JPG" style="clear: both; float: left; margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px;" /></a> Another piece that I am going to consider "fini" as it was also on the gatorboard for awhile. It's w/c on 400# paper so a bit more difficult to do intricate features. This is from Spain travels. Am going to float mount on Espresso Brown matboard and simple black wood frame. It was a long time on the gatorboard while I did some tweaking here and there. But, for better or worse....this is it.<br />
<br />
It is a young dancer that I photographed while on a South American cruise. She was one of about 30 young girls, but she caught my eye because she was so "picture perfect" in her costume and makeup and totally dedicated to dancing perfection.<div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-3689468909910411722011-12-21T14:41:00.001-07:002011-12-21T14:44:14.774-07:00Okay...so this rabbit doesn't know the season<a href='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-48Fp3KG5Rss/TvJSluGehiI/AAAAAAAACZE/5OxisEVeXxg/s1600/DSCN0930.JPG'><img src='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-48Fp3KG5Rss/TvJSluGehiI/AAAAAAAACZE/5OxisEVeXxg/s400/DSCN0930.JPG' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' /></a> <div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-88226765286194980112011-09-17T14:43:00.000-07:002011-09-17T14:43:57.074-07:00View from North Side of Condo<a href='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q-Ax_6vwrfk/TnUUnFkZgQI/AAAAAAAACY8/NKLViU_19UY/s1600/DSCN0560.JPG'><img src='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q-Ax_6vwrfk/TnUUnFkZgQI/AAAAAAAACY8/NKLViU_19UY/s400/DSCN0560.JPG' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' /></a> <div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-7975400110133321402011-09-17T14:41:00.000-07:002011-09-17T14:41:44.429-07:00View from South Side of Condo<a href='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0kjGlTtjcLo/TnUUF4yyPQI/AAAAAAAACY0/MZCJhkf52Rk/s1600/DSCN0584.JPG'><img src='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0kjGlTtjcLo/TnUUF4yyPQI/AAAAAAAACY0/MZCJhkf52Rk/s400/DSCN0584.JPG' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' /></a> <div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-87036949331790332552011-09-17T14:32:00.000-07:002011-09-17T14:32:13.156-07:00Our Summer Condo<a href='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MJbtUqRGYY0/TnUR3Mk5NRI/AAAAAAAACYs/ZqUXW7zpbl4/s1600/DSCN0619.JPG'><img src='http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MJbtUqRGYY0/TnUR3Mk5NRI/AAAAAAAACYs/ZqUXW7zpbl4/s400/DSCN0619.JPG' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' /></a> <div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-86730214724344879402011-09-17T14:26:00.000-07:002011-09-17T14:26:30.317-07:00My Summer<a href='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-71RXSR8dkvc/TnUQhT0T8JI/AAAAAAAACYk/t_qIcWq9mhU/s1600/DSCN0630.JPG'><img src='http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-71RXSR8dkvc/TnUQhT0T8JI/AAAAAAAACYk/t_qIcWq9mhU/s400/DSCN0630.JPG' border='0' alt=''style='clear:both;float:left; margin:0px 10px 10px 0;' /></a> <br />While some were sweltering in the heat, I was privy to this outstanding view every day. Thus, I see that my Flamenco Dancer needs correction in several areas. Also, once again, am having issues with Picasa 3 and my Blog communicating...or it could be a case of operator error. At any rate, both issues need work.<div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; So, I quickly went inside for my camera, came outside and took these photos. 6 coyotes were clustered in one pack and a lone outcast was a few yards to the right.<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TUiomvfl_nI/AAAAAAAACKQ/y6UbjQTSXWc/s1600/100_3732.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TUiomvfl_nI/AAAAAAAACKQ/y6UbjQTSXWc/s400/100_3732.JPG" /></a> I took numerous photos and then their ears, then heads started to look up because they could hear our voices. One (3rd photo) decided he was "outta there" regardless of what the rest of the pack did. In the meantime, the "outcast" didn't move a muscle.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TUiomycNevI/AAAAAAAACKY/f5RDfCzalJE/s1600/100_3736.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TUiomycNevI/AAAAAAAACKY/f5RDfCzalJE/s400/100_3736.JPG" /></a> We came back inside and shortly after, they all started their howling....which is very loud and can easily be heard inside the house.<br /><br />This morning, I watched 2 coyotes walk to our "across the street" neighbors front door and yard, then over to our front patio. One passed just 2 feet from the window. <br /><br />About 2 weeks ago, one coyote walked into our front courtyard carrying a rabbit in his mouth. He was searching for a place to bury it for later dining because he went to our next door neighbors front yard, dug a hole with his paws, deposited the rabbit, and covered it with the landscape rock with his paws and nose. Tough nose is all I can say. My New Year's resolution was to keep my camera handy for future coyote escapades and I've already blown it.<div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-86720786115244198412010-11-03T17:48:00.001-07:002010-11-03T17:50:03.650-07:00La U'iltima Cancio'n - The Last SongI thought I had posted progress reports of "La U'iltima Cancio'n" (The Last Song), but they are not appearing in the blog. I am almost finished and then this cowboy (I am uncertain of how to title - The Last Song OR Los Caballeros) is on his way to his new home in California. He is watercolor; free-hand drawing; on 22x30 unfinished 300# paper....should frame out at 30x40.<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5IAmlYI/AAAAAAAACDc/4g1YCPT5oVY/s1600/100_3149.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5IAmlYI/AAAAAAAACDc/4g1YCPT5oVY/s400/100_3149.JPG" /></a> He was fun to do and as you can see, I truly need to focus on drawing/shading hands.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5QgSB7I/AAAAAAAACDk/WCd3U6u4KYc/s1600/100_3155.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5QgSB7I/AAAAAAAACDk/WCd3U6u4KYc/s400/100_3155.JPG" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5hCZ0CI/AAAAAAAACDs/7BCv5rCE-48/s1600/100_3158.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5hCZ0CI/AAAAAAAACDs/7BCv5rCE-48/s400/100_3158.JPG" /></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5oeJsaI/AAAAAAAACD0/Epf--WUPNmE/s1600/100_3193.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNIC5oeJsaI/AAAAAAAACD0/Epf--WUPNmE/s400/100_3193.JPG" /></a> <div style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; CLEAR: both"><a href="http://picasa.google.com/blogger/" target="ext"><img style="BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; BACKGROUND: 0% 50%; BORDER-TOP: 0px; BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial" border="0" alt="Posted by Picasa" align="middle" src="http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif" /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-46998575072756572882010-11-03T17:10:00.000-07:002010-11-03T17:10:33.295-07:00Hawaii Orchids, Crab Cove and me<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNH59hXX3lI/AAAAAAAACDE/aQzb5IKO1c0/s1600/100_3400.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNH59hXX3lI/AAAAAAAACDE/aQzb5IKO1c0/s400/100_3400.JPG" /></a> <br />The Botanical Garden in Hilo is a fascinating "must see" place to add to your bucket list.<br />The swirling surf at the edge of Crab Cove and a photo of me taken by our fab SCW friends - B&T - who joined us on our 14-day Hawaiian cruise. <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNH591KayOI/AAAAAAAACDM/en_GWPp4W2o/s1600/100_3427.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNH591KayOI/AAAAAAAACDM/en_GWPp4W2o/s400/100_3427.JPG" /></a> <br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNH5-B7YqlI/AAAAAAAACDU/FAqTDEV_F4s/s1600/Ann+Hawaii.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; FLOAT: left; CLEAR: both" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TNH5-B7YqlI/AAAAAAAACDU/FAqTDEV_F4s/s400/Ann+Hawaii.jpg" /></a><div style='clear:both; text-align:LEFT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div>Ann Stubenrauchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05140083959032656381noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4146047953503251379.post-69140184620087972402010-09-10T17:53:00.000-07:002010-09-10T17:53:49.506-07:00Summer Sojourn<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TIrTGf8SwYI/AAAAAAAACCQ/Cq3tLUGIpvE/s1600/100_3212.JPG"><img border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TIrTGf8SwYI/AAAAAAAACCQ/Cq3tLUGIpvE/s400/100_3212.JPG" /></a> </div><br /><div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TIrTG75E2tI/AAAAAAAACCY/j99M2lSLtEQ/s1600/100_3213.JPG"><img border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ptd0L5aZWRQ/TIrTG75E2tI/AAAAAAAACCY/j99M2lSLtEQ/s400/100_3213.JPG" /></a><br />In an ongoing effort to escape the desert heat, this is the type of weather we were seeking and actually experienced for a few days.
