Yellowstone Bison

Awesome example of how a "wannabe" artist can mess up "loose, flowing, colors imitating a shape". Stay tuned for future efforts!

I love the concept with this one, especially love those darks in the shadow areas behind the forelegs and want to see more of those on the rear legs. The only bothersome part of the painting, to me, is the bullseye that is the right eye on the bison. That might be toned down a bit, but that may just be my preference. I like these colors a lot, they may not be realistic but they show that colors don't have to be realistic to be interesting and provocative in a painting.
